Colin Hewett

As Granite Education’s Chief Operating Officer, Colin is constantly working to get things done – even as you read this he is probably fixing an office light switch or answering a phone call or running payroll. That is Colin in a nutshell – someone who prides himself on being productive and driving initiatives forward. Now, you may be asking yourself, “what the heck is someone who has been in health care the past 12 years, a former U.S. Army Infantry Officer, and B.A. in Economics and German from Vanderbilt doing joining Granite Education as COO?” It’s the mission, the values, and the vision of Granite Education. The Granite team is a passionate and driven group of amazing educators who want to make a difference in students lives and Colin is excited to apply his leadership and operational experience to help them achieve that mission. If you are interested in chatting with a former Army Officer and alumnus of the ‘Go Gold’ Battalion give Colin a call – he always enjoys talking to young men and women about the benefits and opportunities that come from ROTC. If by chance you are unable to reach him, check the gyms, baseball and soccer fields around Williamson county ’cause there is a good chance he’ll be there coaching his daughter Samantha’s or son Ryan’s basketball and soccer teams with his wonderful wife Melissa.
