Hi there! I am an educator and school librarian with a bachelor’s degree in history from Northeastern University. As a former constantly-anxious teenager, I understand that learning is both an intellectual and an emotional experience, so I tutor with a mindfulness-based approach that helps students improve their grades and their self-confidence. I adapt each lesson to a student’s individual needs, meeting them where they are and supporting their journey to where they want to be. I specialize in helping prepare for the SAT/ACT and assisting with coursework for History/Social Studies and English. I can also assist in the college application and essay-writing process. For fun, I love reading, solving crosswords, going to the Belcourt, and spreading the word that “having fun isn’t hard when you have a library card.”
