Tyler Hodgett

I am a dedicated tutor holding a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Illinois and a Master’s degree in Law from Northwestern University. In class, I try to make complex subjects accessible and help students build confidence in their abilities. Whether it’s science, writing, critical thinking, or exam preparation, I tailor my approach to each student’s unique needs. I bring a unique blend of expertise to my tutoring practice, earning my Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Illinois, and my Master’s degree in Law at Northwestern University. With these, I aim to help my students not only answer problems, but deeply understand the underlying concepts. I have successfully supported learners in subjects ranging from biology and chemistry to writing, reading comprehension, and standardized test preparation. I am passionate about adapting my teaching style to fit individual learning preferences, whether through visual explanations, practice problems, or structured study strategies.
