As a data scientist, I practice every day exploring not just the “what?” but the “why?” of the world’s questions. I take that same approach to tutoring. Together, we’ll study not just how to answer the questions at hand but why these questions are on the test at all. We’ll identify the skills a given question is testing you on, dive into the relevant concepts, and practice similar problems. This method will help you not only score higher on your tests but also become a better reader, writer, and mathematician for your future classwork! In addition to being a tutor, I can also be a great source for advice or mentorship about STEM careers! I have a Bachelor of Science in Bioinformatics from Baylor University and a Master of Science in Data Science with a concentration in health analytics from NYU. I have worked as a data scientist in the healthcare industry since 2021 and also have also previously worked for LinkedIn.
